Good ol Christmas in Argentina

Pday! Today we packed cause we are headed up to Neuqeun for a big 6 zone conference! YEET! We talked with our families for a wee bit then we headed up to Neuquen! Dude the buses are so comfy! Then guess who was waiting for us when we arrived_ ELDER WOOD! YEET! I was hyped and he said my Spanish had gotten better )it´s only been a week lol= Then a member brought us empanadas which was dope. We stayed with 6 elders. Elder Olivera from Brazil told us his conversion story which was super cool!

Today got up and just read a bunch of the general conference talks. Everyone read the talk by Uchtdorf from the april conference! Then we walked to the chapel and literally everyone was there! Elder Bowles, Elder Dorny, Elder Spencer, Hermana Bascom, Hermana Redman, Elder Trythal and the list goes on and on. Then we have 12 different countries represented in our mission and one person from each one told about the country´s Navidad costumbres. After that which I loved was when all the missionaries ¨dying¨this transfer bore their testimony and it was so powerful! President Cardozo told us the importance of prayer and it is true. We are truly talking to God when we prayer and it truly is a blessing for all of us. After that I went on splits with Elder Scott. He is awesome! He is from Logan Utah and has 18 months in the mission. He is quiet but I always laugh when he says, ÿ si¨After that we stayed up till midnight and watched the Christmas fireworks and made our own little asado.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hope everyone has watched the light the world video. Today we went to the terminal and some dogs followed us the whole way. I named one of them Raul. After that we waited in the terminal for a little bit and there was no one lol. Then took a nice nap ate an alfejore and bam back in choele. Then we called our families! But it took awhile because the internet wasn´t working but eventually we fixed it. Then went back to Lamarque and got to work!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELIZA!!! What a freaking stud am I right folks! Then today was just knocking )clapping= doors and teaching because we can´t read the handwriting of the last missionaries lol. Then we made tacos with Antonia and her family! Antonia even brought a friend and was like oh yeah she has some questions about the church. We were like ¨Buenisimo!!!!¨Then we invited her to church and Antonia is said Öh she can come with me¨

Today was just a whole lot of walking. We talked with Maxi Riquelme a member from Cinco Saltos. And he was like ‘ you need to pass for this person, oh and this person, oh and this person… So that is what we did but the first person lived in a chakra a good 20 min walk. Then when we got there she said Nah I´m good. So back we went. Then we passed by Leila but her mom said we can´t come back. So off we went. We did talk with Jorge! Him and Macarana are still trying to get some medical stuff done so they can get married and he can get baptized!

Today we visited all of the referencias or the vast majority. It was another chakra and everyone who lives there is of one family. We taught the mom, Rosa, the restauracion which was super dope! After that we literally just contacted the entire street. We are visiting on Thursday and one hour is blocked off and says ¨Visit everyone in Rivadavia.¨Then after that Antonia and her family made us EMPANADAS! We were there for awhile and I lost the conversation about halfway through so I was just chillin lol. In the afternoon we just invited everyone to church. But the problem is the chapel is in Choele so people can just say, Ï don´t have a car.¨But we invite them no matter what.

SUNDAY! I love Sundays. The taxi showed up late so I did pull a classic Bennett and was late to church lol. Everyone was like we missed the music. Then Flor came to church! We were so hyped! After church we did some planning as a district and ate some good pasta. Went back to Lamarque and I struck up a conversation with the Taxi driver. Oh yeah small talk in Spanish! I was pretty good at it. Shared with him the restoration too! Then we just grinded. We made some awesome plans and then visited people. I led up the lessons! And we made a plan with Estefania to help her quit smoking! WE ALWAYS GRINDING!

Spiritual ThoughtÑ In the multi’zone conference we talked a lot about prayer. And how we need to make our prayers more meaningful. Because we really are talking to Heavenly Father. He wants to help you and bless you.
