GUYS GUYS GUYS... I'm travel leader

Ladies and gents another week has come and gone. I played ultimate frisbee and basketball and after playing frisbee my legs were the ichiest they have ever been. There was a wicked lightning storm on Wednesday all the guys in my house were either in a room with the lights off watching the lightning or on the front porch. We probably would've been out there all night if we didn't have to be in our rooms by 9:45. There's just something about rain that is relaxing.

And all the guys here want to get married so fast. I had one of the weirdest nights of sleep. I woke up and was freezing cold and could not get warm, then woke up 2 hours later and I was roasting. I also officially lost to the comida.  It was just a rough night lol.

This week I stopped using notes for the lesson I taught.  I went in with  1 or 2 scriptures and just taught. There is something going around the MTC because about half the people here are sick. I've just decided to be extra careful with my food.

Then we had an earthquake drill and we had to sing the Mexican National Anthem. No one really sang. You could hear Jeddy every 3 words just scream out one of the words.  It was so funny. Bertoch also said that my feet were weird, but he's just jealous. When me and Nye (my companion) went to the track Friday morning it was just covered with fog. It was so cool, You literally could not see more than 50 meters in front of you. The meals at the ccm have slowly gotten worse.  I am surviving off of Nutella toast and watermelon. This week I've gotten pretty good at winning arguments in my head. It's like the spongebob meme where it shows 3 different spongebobs each with a different level of strength. Siebert decided this week to start carrying around a blue water jug instead of a water bottle he is a strange dude lol.

Saturday I taught a lesson to Javalois (one of our teachers) and felt the spirit so strongly in that lesson as well as in my book of Mormon reading about the light of Christ.  It really is true that the words will be given you in the very hour in which you need them! Finished the book saints and it is so freaking good! I wish I had all 4 books.

In our class we joke around a lot. Our teacher is so funny too. We always mess with her about her boyfriend but she said she would bring us donuts! Now my companion said he might want to go to the gym so I might be able to do a split with Jeddy! That would make my freaking day! My Spanish is steadily improving.  It's really cool to see that I can make conversations in Spanish (it's gonna be a whole different world in Argentina).

Elder peck covered his face in shaving cream and pretended to be Santa what a guy! I came up with a parody to the Christmas song it's the most wonderful time of the year. I thought it was pretty good others did not lol.

Jeddy taught a fire lesson about commandments in priesthood today. It's funny that none of the elders call us by our last name. Brother Garcia taught a devotional on Sunday and this guy is wack. He spent 30 minutes of the devotional telling us to get married, WE ARE 1 MONTH INTO OUR MISSIONS! Then another 20 on smiling. Our whole house has gotten into drawing pictures from preach my gospel. I drew the title page and I think I did a pretty good job.

Found out the Neuquen missionaries are on a different flight than the kids going to buenos aires, not excited for that. I have to wake up at 4:30 am next monday. Because I'm travel leader...All I do is find out if everyone going to Neuqeun has the right weight for their bags but eventually I'll move up through the ranks and be mission president,  lol.

Our house wants to sing Armies of Helaman in sacrament meeting, but none of us take it very seriously so we'll see how that goes. I had a shopping spree in the tienda.  Buying church clothes is really fun lol. Had icecream for the first time in 6 weeks and happy to report that it did not wreck my stomach. Then Elder Pederson got lowkey roasted for his spanish skills.

Heck yeah made it to another Pday! I wrote my name on the board for lives lost to the comida for all of week 5 lol. My flight is at 10 am on monday and I make it to Buenos Aires at 1 am and then a 20 hour bus ride. And Rachel Richards gave me and Jed a flash drive with a bunch of music! (thank you Jen Reber) Gotta go through and listen to it now. Our whole house wants to do a tie trade on Friday night and mark scriptures by etching in their name tags. Days are just a blur. It's just a lot of teaching and grammar instruction. But gotta get ready for that speedy Argentinian Spanish. And as Bertoch says, "And Babes." Jeddy showed eveyone his druggie passport photo so funny! I might not have a pday for 2 weeks so prepare for a long email next time

Spiritual Thought: My spiritual thought for the week is that the light of christ is in everyone. Sometimes it is hard to find it, but we all chose to follow Christ - which means everyone on this earth has been blessed with the Light of Christ. We just have to hit that switch that helps that light grow in everyone. Because when we can see the light of christ in everyone, we can see a fraction of how much love God and Jesus have for all of us.
